Agenda
1. Reorganization of the Commission. Votes may be taken.
2. Consider policies for future issuance of field use permits including requirements for permit holders, fees, organizational structure of applicants (Groton’s public school district, individual, nonprofit, for profit), etc. with proposed policies to be reviewed by Town Counsel. Votes may be taken.
3. Review pending field use permits. Votes may be taken.
4. Review pending invoices. Votes may be taken.
5. Review draft minutes from May 2, 2017. Votes may be taken.
6. Review budget for general expenses (year end is June 30th). Votes may be taken.
7. Discuss progress on capital improvements including:
Town Field dugouts (fencing contractor needed for support posts)
Town Field basketball court (estimate for fencing reinforcement)
Hazel Grove wellheads (horse washing station)
Cutler basketball court’s lighting improvements
Purchase of aerator
Purchase of infield groomer (possibly an attachment for the aerator)
Purchase of one or more atrial defibrillators
Christine Hanson Memorial Playground replacement fencing (granite post and wood rail)
Town Field stone wall masonry estimates
Basketball goalkeeper post pads (4 needed)
Woitowicz shed repair
Cutler shed repair
Cow Pond Safety Improvements.
Votes may be taken.
8. Discuss policy of allowing Chair to grant or adjust field use permits outside of an open meeting. Votes may be taken.
