MEETING LOCATION: Clinton Hospital, 2nd Floor Conference Room

The Executive Committee is scheduled to meet Tuesday May 20, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. in the 2nd floor conference room at Clinton Hospital

Agenda
Finance:

1. Review the FY14 expenditures and receivables reports
2. Review the Bank Statements & Bank Reconciliations
3. Review Directors Expense report
4. Amelia Peabody Foundation & NCM Community Foundation not selected
5. Discuss process for putting the audit out to bid this year
6. State approves E-Links FY12 audit

Executive:

1. Working Cities Grant $400,000 MOC & CDC are the Leads grant is in progress

2. New Secretary of Labor Rachel Kaprielian visits Central Mass attending the Advanced Manufacturing Academy meeting in Worcester.

3. We withdrew our application for the Healthcare Planning Grant but are meeting April 30th to discuss applying for the implementation grant

4. April 30th is the Annual Construction Career Days in Hopkinton

5. The Strategy Committee should meet before the June meeting to update the Dash Board

6. Workforce Competitive Trust Fund, Sharyn has resigned we will be recruiting new staff

7. The Statewide Connecting Activities Conference will be held in North Central May 23rd they would like to have someone from TYCO present the Women in Technology program

8. Board is Certified and our Revenue plan and Dash Board reports are on the State’s WEB site as models for the other boards.

9. WIB Association Annual meeting is Thursday, May 8th & Friday, May 9th, 2014 Ocean Edge, Cape Cod, Massachusetts (I will be away at the NAWDP Board meeting & conference Mike and Martha will attend)

10. I recently applied for and received recognition as a Certified Workforce Development Professional by the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals. Thank you to Martha and Theresa for their recommendations.
