1. Fitch's Bridge:
• review proposed warrant article and explanation of warrant article for October Town Meeting.
• plan to appear before the BOS/Finance Committee on September 10th re: proposed warrant article.
• send letter eliciting support of bridge replacement to town groups and broader Groton community members.
• incorporate recent spate of bridge design input from equestrians, disability community and other interested parties.
• continue to plan for bridge standards (possibly ASHTO pedestrian bridge standards) and permitting.
• plan to meet with Historical Commission re: bridge removal and documentation.
• plan to meet with Finance Committee later in September re: upcoming warrant articles involving proposed expenditures.
• discuss design build and note qualifications of various bridge contractors in the area who might be capable of doing this work.
• attempt to gather documentation from similar projects in Commonwealth to be used to inform our contracts, engineering and design.
• begin to plan of October Town Meeting presentation. Need visuals for audience, possibly a Powerpoint presentation?

2. Chicopee Row land purchase: decide whether to support Con Com request to CPC to pay $25,000 toward the cost of large land purchase on Chicopee Row (across from Williams Barn).
