  • Approved November’s meeting Minutes Unanimously.
  • Approved accounts payable.

  New Business:

  • A public “Thank You” to May Brackett?

After more than 7 years as an active member of the Williams Barn Committee May (Laurie) Brackett has decided to leave to committee to focus on her career.

 

May started as in Intern for the Farms Markets while in High School. Then she joined the committee eventually taking on the role of Co-chairman. As an intern and member, she worked with the Town Manager and other town committees to ensure that we all worked together.

 

We appreciate the hard work she put in and May will be greatly missed.

 

  • Thanksgiving Market

o   Authorize remaining balance of pledge to be paid to Groton Grange for the Brad Smith Scholarship. 

  • Accepting in-kind donations – WBC to review donations before accepting, with the understanding that the WBC will decide what will be done with the donation.

o   Bruce will contacted Joanie with regard to the current donation.

  • Conditions accepted.
  • Intern Exit Interview

o   Estella is required to provide a written summary of the Farmers Market.

  • Steve talked to her, she will provide it as soon as possible.
  • Barn Repairs

o   CPA application. Project summary forms are due on 24 October

  • Voted to approve Submitting Project Summary Form to the CPA for the repair the Williams Barn was approved unanimously.
  • Steve will provide initial estimates for the repair work by Oct 24th.
  • Bruce will take this to the CPA
  • Initial acceptance approved for $140k
  • Vote to approve the purchase of 2 bottles of Bora-care for the treatment of Powder Post Beetles. Approve unanimously.
