What: The Montachusett Regional Planning Commission (MRPC) in collaboration with the Montachusett Regional Transit Authority (MART) and the agencies’ consultant WSP are partnering with the region’s communities to undertake a safety action plan to improve roadway safety outcomes in North-Central Massachusetts.

This second public information meeting will provide the community with an opportunity to become fully acquainted with the results of work undertaken in the past five months to better understand the overall context for the area and specific problematic intersections or stretches of road. This represents the start of determining of where specific improvement projects may be built using Federally-approved safety countermeasures. Our team wants to hear from as many roadway users as possible as we begin this phase of work.
