- Representative Margaret Scarsdale and Agricultural Commissions Meetings
o Members are attending when they can.
New Business:
- The Sustainability Commission would like to host a small event during one of the September or October farmers markets. Guided hike through Sorhaug Woods where we will teach some fundamentals of forest management
o Charlotte will attend to provide an update.
- Intern interview:
o Bob to provide an update
- Waiver,
o Town Attorney for approval?
-Williams Barn Committee and Groton Farmer's Market are not responsible for the amount of food/beverages sold. They are not liable to cover any expenses of the food truck.
-By checking box this agreement, I agree that I am solely responsible for any personal injury or loss of property, while participation in Groton Farmer's Market.

Upcoming event
- Riverfest was June 9th 11am – 4pm at the Petapawag boat ramp–
o Attended by May, Chris, Steve, Bruce and Matt.
- Student visits 3rd Grade classes - May 29th and 30th
- Memorial Day Parade – May 27th
Farmers Market 2024 Season
15 x Summer Markets; Fridays 3pm to 7pm July 5th to Oct 11th
Thanksgiving Market Nov. 23rd
Fee schedule:
$20 per market due day of the market = $300
If paid in full before the July 5th = $260
If paid in full for the remainder of the season, after July 5th: Remaining Markets @$20 ea less $20.
Enforcing vendor insurance requirements
All vendors MUST be covered before we allow them at the market.
An Insurance Certificate Naming the Town as an Additional Insured for general liability with limits of $1,000,000 per Occurrence.

- Food Trucks – Steve W working on this. Will not pay a fee.

Old Business:
- Fire Buildings Inspection.
o Impact Fire will do the inspection for $600.
o Need to submit to ConCom for 2026 budget.
- Bruce is working on the Grants.
- Committee Charter
- Garden at the Barn Eagle Scout project –In the Fall.
