Agenda:

  1. Call meeting to order (Aubrey Theall)
  2. Approve February minutes (Aubrey Theall)
  3. Status update on incoming, outgoing Commissioners. Continue effort to recruit alternate Commissioners.
  4. Prescott House Updates (Aubrey Theall):
    1. 18 month demo delay clock continues to tick toward November 2024.
    2. Two parties toured the house the first week of March, at least two more seeking tours.
    3. Discussion of prospective offer to remove portions of Prescott House to be incorporated into the restoration of a 1791 structure in PA.
    4. Fundraising effort to raise $8k for LIDAR scanning, report. Groton History Center is receptive to eventually working together on some form of exhibit.  Need a fundraising strategy.  Have been too tied up with Bancroft Castle CPC application, Prescott House and other matters to move this forward since last meeting.
  5. CPC applications both were recommended and are going to Town Meeting for Vote. Richard Nason to take over mile marker program.  Discussion of both applications, if updates are available. 
  6. Historical Plaque pilot program update (Joshua Vollmar, Tom Horsman)
  7. Groton Master Plan (Commission)
  8. Ongoing effort to identify and digitize historic materials (Commission)
  9. Any topics not anticipated within 48 hours of the meeting
  10. New business
  11. Schedule next meeting
  12. Adjourn
