In accordance with actions related to an extension to the remote meeting provisions of the Governor’s March 11, 2020, Executive Orders until March 31, 2025, and recent MRPC policy, this meeting will be a hybrid meeting. 

 

Log-in and location information are provided above and below.

 

Participants are required to register for this meeting in order to receive meeting connection information.  Please read the information provided below.

 

It is important that we obtain a quorum for this meeting in order to conduct appropriate MRPC business and actions.  As a Member or Alternate, please RSVP on or before October 5, 2023.

 

Please Note: In regard to public comment, members of the public may speak by utilizing the ‘Chat’ function through GoToMeeting. The MRPC Chair will call their name to recognize their comment or question.  Roll call votes using member names may be taken for all action items as a matter of public record.

 

MRPC staff will make every effort to assist any members or members of the public who wish to provide comments at this virtual meeting.  The meeting will be open at 6:50 pm to allow participants to become accustomed to the meeting mechanics and to keep the meeting running as smoothly as possible.

Please be advised that all, potential meeting attendees and staff must register for all MRPC public meetings in order to receive an online meeting link.

 

Virtual attendee registration information follows:

1. In accordance with the Open Meeting Law, potential meeting participants

can register throughout the duration of a posted public meeting.

2. Registration information will include potential meeting member name, affiliation, and email address.
3. All persons registering for meeting access will be admitted to the meeting.
4. Registrants will be issued online meeting information via email.

 

MRPC utilizes GoToMeeting for its online meetings. MRPC staff will not be able to provide technical assistance concerning this meeting platform. Meeting registrants are urged to download the relevant tele video conferencing app (GoToMeeting) well in advance of any and all MRPC meetings and to obtain help from the online app website, provided here for your convenience.

6.1 Artificial Intelligence (AI) Use Policy
An AI use policy is in development. Recently, the Executive Director issued a
memo to all employees banning the use of AI for the preparation of reports and
related duties until such a policy is written and adopted by the Commissioners
for approval in the near future.

Mr. Eaton:
MRPC is moving toward an online mapping tool for department updates. This
information will be rolled out as early as October and will replacing the quarterly
Contract Statis Report. Commissioners are welcome at any time to contact staff to
obtain contract updates.
Mr. Stanton:
Explanation of new map-based reporting format in Montachusett Region Mapper
(MRMapper).
