Agenda:

1. Approval of 5 sets of meeting minutes that were not approved from Nov 2022 through August 31 2023
2. Close grants from last cycle
3. Discuss and vote on pre-funding (preferred by the state) vs. reimbursement
4. Discussion/overview of our guidelines and Priorities:

Projects that that benefit the local Groton community inclusive of all ages, ethnic, POC, LGBTQX, religious and cultural backgrounds, or persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply and given equal consideration.

            Projects may include public benefit through Arts, Humanities, and Sciences.

Limit grant amounts to a maximum of 1,500.00

Limit the number of applications to 4 per organization

Field trips are eligible for reimbursement for tickets, travel and guide fees.

Capitol expenditure requests are allowed with limitations.

Applicant eligibility includes: Individuals, Incorporated non-profit organizations, Unincorporated associations, Incorporated for-profit organizations, Tribal, federal, state and municipal government organizations and religious organizations.

LCC monies cannot be used to purchase food or beverages, LCC cannot fund activities that are "inherently religious"

5. Discuss procedures for reviewing grant applications
6. Assign grants to members to review
7. Discussion/vote on setting an event in the spring to recognize recipients
8. Reminder for everyone to check their profiles
9. GCC Meeting 2^nd Tuesday of every month, Town Hall meeting room
