  1. Commentary / Learnings from September 6th Seminar (GELD)

 

  1. Planning for Session #7: “Home-Based Energy” (Wednesday November 1st)
    • Confirm homeowners/speakers from Sustainable Groton: Andrew, Bruce, Charlotte, Phil (should we envision subbing in someone else?)
    • Confirm external speakers: Chris Spychalski (NuWatt Energy), Freddy Petkus (Critical Mass Solar)
    • Consider request to add GELD participation
    • Decide on structure & flow for session
    • Set initial planning meeting/review date

 

  1. Early planning for December (#8) and February (#9) seminars for additional post-Labor Day sessions
    • Session #8 – December 6th: Waste Stream Awareness with DPW, Recycling Committee, Black Earth Composting, and other(s).
    • Session #9 – February 7th: “Stormwater and Snow Runoff” with DPW, Stormwater & Earth Removal, Board of Health, NRWA, and other(s)
    • Set rough timelines to confirm speakers, identify content, review and publicize

 

  1. Consider David Southwick’s idea of an evening “event” – perhaps at Groton Grange instead of Groton Center for one or more of the upcoming seminars
