  1. Call meeting to order.
  2. Review & accept minutes from last meeting. (GHC)
  3. Thomas Horsman, candidate to join the Historical Commission. (Aubrey Theall introduction).
  4. Further new member recruiting, 3 alternate Commissioners. Letter to editor of the Groton Herald submitted (Aubrey Theall)
  5. Prescott House Updates (Aubrey Theall):
    1. 18 month demo delay clock continues to tick toward November 2025.
    2. RFP Responses for Historic Structure Report due by 8/31
    3. Real estate quasi "listing" (for movement of house), hopeful to have soon. Will list house on circaoldhouses.com once available.  Need to develop a list of publications that will take a paid ad.  This Old House magazine has been a dead end.
    4. Prescott House FAQ's are with GHM.
  6. Preservation of Town Records/Possible CPA Funding (Bob DeGroot)
  7. Inventory of Historic Assets: (Michael Danti)
  8. Inventory of Historical Commission Files (Michael LaTerz, Joshua Vollmar)
  9. Old Meetinghouse Updates: (Allen King)
  10. Historical Markers (Michael LaTerz).
  11. Administration budget update (Aubrey Theall). We appear to have secured a $500 administrative budget for FY24, will request a larger amount for FY25 and beyond assuming we spend the $500.
  12. Bancroft Castle (Joshua Vollmar). Aubrey Theall spoke with the Webbers, who are on board with the concept of trying to obtain CPA funding for preservation of the castle remains.  Conservation Commission next to opine.
  13. Town of Groton Long Term Plan interview update (Aubrey Theall, Michal LaTerz)
