Agenda:

  1. Call meeting to order.
  2. Review & accept minutes from last meeting.
  3. Prescott House sub-committee update: Aubrey Theall
    1. Conceptual discussion of using Historical Commission to raise funds for Prescott House.
      1. Discussed with Mark Haddad, Town has no objection and has an account we can use to deposit funds to. There is precedent as well.
    2. Discussion of latest developments.
    3. Approaching Groton School to see if they have interest in relocating the house to campus, per the suggestion of Jack Petropoulos. Mark Haddad is reaching out.  Possibly approach Lawrence Academy as well?
    4. Real estate listing by Cheryl King.
      1. Would need to raise between $750-2,100 for an ad in Antiques Home Magazine. Discussion as to how to fund. 
    5. Inventory of Historic Assets: Michael Danti
    6. Old Meetinghouse Updates: Allen King
      1. Window work is visibly underway.
    7. Historic Commission web page update: Michael LaTerz
    8. Historic Commission files: Michael LaTerz
    9. Deluxe Corp. site redevelopment, does HistComm have feedback to add
    10. 68 Boston Road & 599 Lowell Road, public hearings posted by Conservation Commission in the Groton Herald related to re-development. At what point is the Historical Commission notified of the potential demolition of potentially historic structures?
    11. New member recruiting, filling Vice Chair and Secretary roles.
      1. Aubrey reached out to Erin Haugen, has not received a response.
    12. Open Meeting Law Reminder.
      1. Best practice when communicating by email is to use Bcc: so as to avoid accidentally creating a quorum through "Reply All".
    13. Any topics not anticipated within 48 hours of the meeting
    14. New business
    15. Schedule May meeting
    16. Adjourn meeting
