    1. Forward email to trails@grotonma.gov
    2. Add historical locations on the map with the links to Groton Historical Society
    1. Remove the trail or mark it closed on the map in Wharton below the esker trail off Dan Parker (Gamlin Crystal Spring Trail).
  1. (7:15) Trail Projects
    1. Mow and mark the trail in the General Field
    2. Construct a new trail on the Groton Conservation Trust’s (GCT’s) “Perry Land” parcel on Nov 19th, at 10 AM  
    3. Install trailhead posts Replace trailhead posts (Acorn Path, Duck Pond Rd., Hidden Valley Rd., Johnston)
    4. Install trail markers on Red Line Trail
    5. Trim Scarlet Hill trail to the top
  1. The Nashua Riverwalk’s observation area was approved by DCR after walkthrough. DCR is still opposed to the loop trail or additional parking. Discussions are still in progress. Deed was reviewed by Funch to determine proper ownership of the area north of Nod Brook; DCR ownership seems unlikely. Funch will seek clarification on whether the awarded grant money can be extended another year if this delay prevents construction during the November 2022-March 2023 window.
    1. Provide responses to Mass Open Space Network’s Outdoor Recreation Survey by Nov 30, 2022.
    2. Ryan Fish, an Eagle Scout candidate, held the sign ceremony at the General Field on Oct 23rd.

    1. MassTrails Conference – Chainsaw training and workshops from Nov 5 to Nov 12
    2. Town Forest’s 100thAnniversary in 2022 – Devereaux, Murray
    3. Destination Groton – Legge, Murray, Funch, McWade
    4. Social Media – Cianci, Murray
    5. Mapping/Website Management – McWade, Peregoy
    6. Trail Riders – Deschambeault
