Notes on Library Board of Trustees Meeting Remote Participation:
The Library Board of Trustees will be holding a remote meeting where all participants are connected via webcam and voice chat on Tuesday 2/9/2021 at 7:00 PM.
The meeting will be conducted utilizing the software ‘Zoom’. This meeting will be conducted in a Webinar format. Computer/tablet/phone users can join the meeting in the Zoom software as a participant and choose to allow video/voice chat features. Video and microphone (for voice) will be disabled for all public participants until you indicate in the software that you wish to address the meeting by using the ‘Raise Hand’ feature at the bottom of the Webinar window. At an appropriate time, the Library Director will grant you access to speak in the webinar. Your microphone feature must be enabled at that time to be heard (you optionally can enable your webcam video for that period also). After you are done speaking the Library Director will again set you to be a viewer only and disable your webcam/microphone from broadcasting. Participants also have the option of typing a question in the comments or using the Q&A feature to ask a question if they feel more comfortable asking that way.
If you have a comment/question during the meeting and are experiencing issues getting it to work properly please mail director@gpl.org with your comments and the Library Director will attempt to relay them during the meeting.
People wishing to just watch the meeting can do so through the zoom app or watch on The Groton Channel who will be broadcasting it on their government channel (Channel 41 on FIOS / 192 on Charter).
