1. Trail project process
   1. Land ownership and boundaries (GIS); parcel ID, etc.
   2. Property rules (MOAs, CRs, etc.)
   3. Diagram of proposed project; photos; written description
   4. Approvals (RDAs, Board of Trustees, etc.)
   5. Plan work project; schedule; solicit volunteers
2. Grant application process
   1. Grant guidelines (organization type, eligibility, max amount, deadlines, etc.)
   2. Prepare a-c (above) for trail projects
   3. Obtain cost estimates; prepare own cost estimate as a check
   4. Prepare budget proposal for project, equipment, etc.
   5. Obtain letters of support from appropriate organizations and/or individuals
